On 05.03.2008 In Mussala 2 Hall in the Hilton hotel were bestowed the annual awards of the National competition ArchIdea 2008.
In the category Conservation and restoration of monuments of culture,
was awarded the project Conservation and restoration of monuments in the “Ancient Plovdiv” Reserve.

The award was bestowed to the Bulgarian National Committee of ICOMOS as contractor of the project, as well as to all designers who took part in the project implementation.

The competition ArchIdea’2008 is being held for the fifth time under the motto “the architecture in the new millennium”. The organiser is the Bulgarian construction website www.stroitelstvo.bg with the support of the Chamber of the architects in Bulgaria, the Union of the architects in Bulgaria, the International academy for architecture, the University for architecture, construction and geodesy.

The fifth edition of ArchIdea’2008 attracted 253 projects. It was held in the period 10 November 2007 – 10 February 2008 and presented the creative work of more than 70 architectural teams and at least 200 Bulgarian free lance designers in the country and abroad.
